Condemnation as referee is chased from pitch in Port Vale defeat
A look at Port Vale on and off the pitch after the 1-0 defeat at home to Portsmouth
Hello and welcome to our Sunday morning edition of The Valiant for January 28.
There’s plenty to talk about, to say the least, as we digest Vale’s 1-0 defeat at home to leaders Portsmouth.
Colby Bishop netted from the spot on 88 minutes after Conor Grant was adjudged to have fouled Abu Kamara in the area. Shortly after the goal, the game had to be halted after a pitch invader made for referee Craig Hicks who headed down the tunnel for safety.
We have reaction to that and to the game itself as Vale dropped to 20th.
If you would like to sign up to The Valiant, the £10 offer for your first year is still available until February 1. That also includes access to all 63 previous editions since we launched at the start of October.
