Vale’s pre-season fixtures begin at Newcastle Town tomorrow evening, photographer Pete Stonier has been down to training and, yes, I know the season is still five weeks away, but no apologies here for looking forward to it already.

Our main feature this evening is with new centre forward Jayden Stockley as we talk about his career so far, previous tussles with the Vale and what’s brought him to Vale Park.

But that’s just part of a packed edition as we look at everything from TV games to kit launches and transfers around the league along with the usual mix of news, analysis, opinion and nostalgia.
