You’ll have heard by now that Vale are getting a new hybrid pitch. Well, we’re talking to head groundsman Steve Alderson all about that and the major work on the stadium surface and the training pitches this summer.
It’s a huge investment for the club so we’re hearing about how it will work and the difference it will make after the Vale Park pitch made a few unwanted headlines last season.
There’s also the result of your player-of-the-year vote, the poll having been topped by a player I reckon is a worthy winner.
