Vale causing a stir in transfer market

Hello and welcome to our Thursday evening edition of The Valiant for July 11.

We’re looking at the signing of George Byers and talking to a journalist who watched him play every week at Sheffield Wednesday. The Vale have pulled off something of a coup by getting the 28-year-old midfielder to Vale Park so it was interesting to have a look at what fans can expect from the club’s eighth signing of the summer.

Also, I was at last night’s friendly at Leek Town where a young Vale side were edged out 1-0 so we have talking points from there.
