Vale gather momentum with Rovers win
An in-depth look at Port Vale after their 2-0 win at home to Bristol Rovers
Hello and welcome to our Saturday morning edition of The Valiant for March 30.
Port Vale’s revival under Darren Moore continues as a convincing 2-0 win at home to Bristol Rovers leaves them just a point inside the relegation zone with seven games to play.
The Vale followed up last week’s 1-0 win at Burton with a comfortable victory thanks to Ben Garrity’s 42nd-minute opener and Baylee Dipepa’s strike seven minutes into the second half.
That means Vale will travel to Northampton on Monday with strengthened belief they can get out of trouble, even though other results largely went against them.
